Our online tutoring services are based around the same principles as our in-person tutoring. ur goal is to create a remote learning experience that establishes one-on-one instruction producing consistent educational growth.
Our online tutoring platform takes virtual tutoring to another level. The platform we use ensures that students are still getting the full Barton Method multisensory experience. This provides the student with opportunities to respond and engage in active learning. Our remote learning experience is effective and efficient.

How To Get Started With Virtual Tutoring
If remote tutoring is the option of choice, the following tools are required to make your experience as positive as possible. We recommend the following:

A designated, quiet place free of distractions and noise

No cell phones, tablets, or gaming systems should be running

Adequate internet speed – to test your internet speed, you can go to www.fast.com and make sure that your download speed is at least 15 MBPS
The following hardware is needed for an online tutoring session:

PC, Mac, or Google Chromebook

Webcam (usually built-in)

Headset with microphone

Optional: touch screen with pen or tablet
During the first few sessions, Reading With Results requires a parent or guardian to be present to make sure the child stays on-task and focused. After that standard is set and realized, it is often possible to ease up on this requirement.
